Off-Duty Cop Shoots Man at Penn Station
September 25th, 2025
An off duty police officer shot and wounded a man inside of Penn Station on Wednesday evening. Cops say the suspect approached, then attempted to rob the officer and her husband on the platform before being shot in the arm.

Off Duty Cop Thrown Into Tracks By Homeless Person
An unidentified off duty cop was pushed onto the tracks at the Third Avenue station in Manhattan by 28-year-old Aaron Walker. The duo proceeded to fight on the tracks before getting back up Walker was later apprehended at the union square stop and arraigned on a litany of charges including attempted murder and criminal trespassing.

More Than Five Dozen Protesters Arrested In Midtown
Just under 60 of the 150 demonstrators at a slew of rallies in Midtown, ranging in clauses from anti-Israel to climate based activism, were arrested early Tuesday afternoon. Sequentially, the rallies took place as President Trump addressed the general assembly. Protesters that got arrested were escorted into large NYPD buses and brought to department headquarters for processing.

Activist’s Police Brutality Lawsuit Thrown Out
A lawsuit filed by protester Kimberly Bernard against the NYPD claiming she was assaulted by cops while protesting Jordan Neely’s death was tossed by US District Court Judge Denise Cote. It was dismissed on the premise that eyewitness accounts of what transpired and police bodycam footage didn’t align with Bernard’s story. Bernard has been involved in a number of demonstrations including the “Black Lives Matter” Protest in 2020.

Man Stabbed On 7 Train
A 25-year-old man was stabbed once from behind and twice in the neck with an “unknown sharp object” by another individual after the duo got into an argument on the 7 train in Queens. The victim was originally listed as being in stable condition; which was later downgraded to critical condition. No suspect has been identified as of yet, per the cops.

Suspect With 10 Prior Arrests Identified In Shooting (UPDATE TO BELOW)
Joel Nieves, a 35-year-old man with 10 prior arrests – most recently for reckless endangerment in June of 2023, was identified as the gunman in the shooting of a teenage girl on the Upper East Side. Sources believe Nieves is affiliated with a gang which carried out the chain of violence that saw a man get stabbed in the buttocks around the corner following the Mexican Day Parade. He’s been charged with attempted murder, assault and weapons possession.

13-Year-Old Boy Shot Outside Dunkin Donuts
A 13-year-old boy was struck in the head and left in critical condition by gunfire outside of the Dunkin Donuts on Linden and Springfield Boulevard in Cambria Heights on Monday morning. The gunman ran off after firing at the teen; his motive remains unclear. The victim was transported to Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

Another Off Duty Cop Robbed in the Bronx
Four months after an off-duty cop was brutally beaten and robbed of his gun, another off-duty cop was robbed in the Bronx late Sunday evening. The 31-year-old officer was attacked inside of his car by a man on a scooter who used his helmet as a weapon, officials said. Still at large, the suspect fled the scene on the same scooter going towards Manhattan University.

Women Stabbed, Man Shot Moments Apart (UPDATE ABOVE)
A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the buttocks before a 17-year-old girl was unintendedly struck by a bullet in the left shoulder right around the corner less than a minute later – both events transpired within the confines of the 13th Precinct. The victims were transported to Bellevue hospital in stable condition, with a person of interest – later identified as the suspect – being taken into custody for the shooting. Though coincidental cops believe the attacks were incidental, pending investigation.
